As mentioned, JazzFanz.com is all about the volunteer staff. We have a number of great individuals on the team that donate their time and energy to making this a great place to visit.

Here are a few of those wonderful JazzFanz:

John Colton (colton)

Colton became converted to the Jazz style of basketball while going to college in Utah, back in the Stockton-to-Malone days. He has remained a fan despite living in three states since then for grad school, then a post-doctoral fellowship, and now permanent employment. Colton teaches physics at a university in Wisconsin, and sometimes wishes his students would stop acting like they are trying to solve physics problems in tuxedos.

Jason Scherbel (Jason)

Jason is a Jazz fan to the bitter end. He started this site a number of years ago as a project and look what's happened. He enjoys spending time with his two kids and getting his wife mad at him. Of course, the madness comes in from all the time he spends surfing the Internet (aka working and playing on JazzFanz.com).

Matt Stevens (Pica$$o)

Ever since Matt dribbled a ball in the Jr. Jazz he has been a Jazz fan. Growing up in Salt Lake he acquired a strong love for the Jazz and after moving to Portland, Oregon his love for the team still stands. One day he was looking for information on the Jazz and came across the JazzFanz.com website. "I was shocked and amazed that this was here and I wanted to see how I could help." Now the JazzFanz.com web designer, Matt's love for the Jazz continues. Matt is currently a Creative Director for a company in Portland and is finishing up his BS in media arts and animation. Matt has been married to his wonderful wife for four years.
