    2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I was thinking the same thing! Holy crap with the skinny jeans in Atlanta. . .

    Miles Bridges

I’m a no, but I don’t think Danny Ainge cares much about my opinion.

That’s fine. . . I love Rudy at his next stop, or after all the picks convey. Until then, I want glorious failure for the Timberwolves.

Great. I like Rudy and I like Donovan, but screw both the Cavs and the Wolves. Epic playoff meltdowns and failures can only help improve the picks the Jazz have coming. I’m here for every minute of the chaos.

    Paul George anyone ??

I think you’re right, but I also think that Ainge wants stars (even if they have baggage) and both guys qualify. It would be up to DA to sell it. As long as the Jazz keep Markkanen, I’m open to just about anybody.

    Paul George anyone ??

You would, but I think the Jazz have enough ammunition that they could keep a top pick this year.

    Paul George anyone ??

He’s old, but I would LOVE to have Jimmy Butler on the Jazz. Dude would definitely come in and be the Alpha from day 1. Would love to see what that would unlock for guys like Sexton and Markkanen.

Cleveland picks have a decent chance to be good if things blow up this offseason. I still like Donovan personally, but I’m rooting for the worst collapse Cleveland has ever seen over the next 5 years.

I wasn’t a fan of his for a long time, but he clearly is one of the top players in the league. Injuries happen, so I wouldn’t bank on those picks being trash - but there’s a decent chance none are top 10.

Best Playoff Outcomes for Jazz Trades

I agree that the clips used were misleading. Everyone has those issues at some point. Jazz should probably be out on trading for Ingram. They likely would need to pay more than what New Orleans wants to get back, and it sounds like the Pelicans think they can go star hunting to team someone up...

Best Playoff Outcomes for Jazz Trades

I’m mostly in this camp. The time for tanking would’ve been immediately after trading Mitchell and Gobert. The Jazz never should’ve come into the season with Conley and Clarkson. It was stupid to not tear the team down to the studs (which they likely could have) and then burn it down to the...

    Offseason Plan + Lauri Thread

Jazz were the #1 seed with a bunch of the same players and literally blew it all up less than 2 years later. I’m not counting on the Cavs and Wolves to implode, but I’m not counting it out either.

Who should the Jazz bring back next year?

It depends on if we’re tanking again. If we keep Markkanen, Lofton and Juzang both make sense as end of the bench guys. Dunn probably gets a decent offer after his time in Utah, and if they are willing to pay to keep him, they should’ve kept Fontecchio instead.

If KAT becomes available should Jazz be interested?

No. Dude is the epitome of empty calories. Jazz can better use their assets in dozens of ways before even looking to buy low on KAT if he becomes available. Thanks, but no thanks.

    Darius Deserves Distinction Watch Thread

I really like the Jazz strategy of signing young guys with something to prove to these 3 year non-guaranteed contracts. Keep them hungry and see if a change of scenery and a new coaching staff can unlock something special in them.
