2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Castle just kinda lets things come to him and it’s not like he’s passive… he’s just calm and controlled. May just be a role player if he doesn’t have more on ball juice or can’t shoot at a high level but think he’s a good bet.

Is a median/somewhat high outcome me Alex Caruso?

I think he's a great bet in a draft with nobody I can look at and say "that guy's a star."

I look at Castle and see a good player who can get loads better and has a very, very high chance of a long, productive NBA career.

I also passionately hate this draft so my perspective is a very pessimistic one.

Feel like Walter and Castle are both very active off ball and to loose balls in a way that Cody Williams is not.
Just seems like he’s in the right spots doing the right things. Team is well coached though so it seems they are all doing that.

Sure, but you choose the team you play for. He went to an upperclassmen led top 10 team. I'm sure he went in with the mindset of having to be a role player.

Right. He could have gone to a ****** team to put up a lot of numbers. I think this experience is going to be much more valuable.

Stan Van Gundy loves Castle like he loves Diet Coke.

For a few years I've felt alone in liking Caleb Love (North Carolina and now Arizona). He can score, rebound, drive, defend, and set up others. He is 6'4 205lbs. He stepped up in most big games. I am surprised he has never gotten much draft run during his college career. I think I'd rather have him on the end of out bench than a few of the guys we already have.
What about now tho?
