Anthony Bennett *** draftIf we win the lottery it will be a tough choice between Dink and Nunez.
You’re also highly overrating total NIL money. He wouldn’t get near what he’d make on the first year of his rookie contract.
I think if you are projected top2-7 its also about the first contract. If you go 10 or 18 the money isn't much different. The second contract sooner is also huge, but he could play well and go 13/14 next year instead of top 3 and its a difference of $10M+It's actually not about NIL money or his first year's salary in the NBA. It's about getting to a big second contract in the NBA a year sooner, if his camp believes that's in the cards for him.

If he stays it will be a bad financial decision but also might make him the happiest so... live your life Reed. Having grown up as a fan of the program I would get it if he went back. Most of the time I think its dumb but its part of his fabric as a person and he can make a bunch of money while pursuing one of his dreams.
Do they have a good incoming recruiting class? That also would factor into my decision if I was Reed.
He goes back to school and proves himself as a lead guard he has a higher chance of going to a team who will develop him as such, meaning chance at a bigger payday. It's actually not about NIL money or his first year's salary in the NBA. I've seen some people with Nunez in their top 10. Highest I've seen him was 5.lol Juan Nunez is not the guy I was thinking of. I got him confused with Hugo Gonzalez in my head. I’m dying laughing right now. I couldn’t understand why it was so outlandish to say what I said lmao.
Some kids make a lot on NIL deals even though it is more modest for mostYou’re also highly overrating total NIL money. He wouldn’t get near what he’d make on the first year of his rookie contract.
Doesn't have to be more, but it's enough to convince someone to stay if they love the situation. Plus he gets to build his brand more, which will undoubtedly grow more in value at Kentucky unless he gets to a major market. You’re also highly overrating total NIL money. Just bad timing. New coach, recruits de-committing, etc. I wouldn’t be shocked but I think it would be a mistake.Doesn't have to be more, but it's enough to convince someone to stay if they love the situation. The highest basketball player not named Bronny is at 1.4M. That is nothing compared to a top-10 pick’s first year salary. Some kids make a lot on NIL deals even though it is more modest for most
Coach is his dad's former roommate and good friend. You said yourself Coach Cal wasn't a good coach.Just bad timing. New coach, recruits de-committing, etc. I wouldn’t be shocked but I think it would be a mistake.
