And I'm gonna fall for it.
1. Greatest ever probably not, greatest defender? Worth discussing.
2. Not unless he returns home.
3. Mine at least
4. Agreed
5. TBH it would make me a bit sad that we couldn't make a champion with Conley and Gobert.
6. I'm down for that. Watching Gobert is a joy for...
I am fascinated with this tech right now. I've been using ChatGPT 3.5 for a while now but 4.o is blowing my mind.
Like @Al-O-Meter alluded to. This tech will only get better, and it will do it exponentially.
Is Gobert the best defender of all time is a thread worthy question. (I might do that)
Who he is guarding is another topic and the answer is easy, he is guarding the other team.
Jokic is amazing. A 7 footer that passes like a guard, can score, rebound and do it all? Ok his defense is lacking, but he is simply amazing.
The team with the best player wins it all a lot. With all that said, I think you could have responded better to @HermanG
Wrong forum this is JazzFanz, but if any Wolves fans want to chime in they would be welcome here as long as they remember how we've dealt with the "pesky" timberpups in the last few decades.
1. e4 1.. c5

Chess annotation. His moves then my replies.
He can correct my explanation, but I believe this is a sideline of a Sicilian defense.
@LogGrad98 and I are playing a correspondence/daily move game right now. He's highly rated and I'm an average bum, but If I find a way to show our game before he beats me in 12 moves, I'll try and post it.
Speaking of OTB (over the board) has anyone here played in an actual chess tournament?
I see the Utah Chess Association has events every now and then. I'd love to get my *** kicked by some 10 year old just for the love of the game.
I'm not sure, but Magnus is known for his miraculous endgame techniques, especially in speed chess. The only other person with those traits would be the multiple time US champ Hikaru Nakamura. Hikaru is probably the best defender of all time IMHO.
Any thoughts on lichess VS chess.com?
I love how lichess is open source and free, but chess.com has recently added some great things that couldn't be done without funding.
