Now that Denver, Green Bay, Houston and Seattle are out I have no interest in even watching the Superbowl.
I guess I am pulling for a 49ers v. Ravens Superbowl. But eh, I dont care anymore.
In my non-homer moments, I said the pats couldnt win it all without a healthy Gronk. I said this before the mid-season acquisition of Talib, which has definitely helped, but losing Gronk definitely hurts.
Still, the Pats have to be the favorites at this point. Brady could get his 19th postseason win and his 4th ring. Impressive.
I'm a Falcon fan since for the past 20 plus years I've lived in an area that gets the Falcons every week as a regional feed (Savannah, Ga.) There secondary is much improved this year and they have the passing offense to win a shootout if necessary. That being said, the Falcons are a flawed team just like every one of these playoff teams, the 49ers included! I despise New England and think the 10 point spread over the Ravens is way over blown! Flaco has a knack for winning big road playoff games and they have beaten the Patriots in New England before in the playoffs and on the road! If it does end up being New England vs. 49ers in the Superbowl I would be forced to root for the Patriots. Why? Can't be for a team who's quarterback is jam packed with enough jailhouse tats to make an NBA player, team and league blush!

News flash genius.... The last time they played, was before Jim Harbaugh. All there wins were under Singleterry and Nolan. If I recall the 49ers under those two were bad teams. The 49ers are a completely different team.

I am an unabashed Alex Smith homer, and I still think Harbaugh screwed him pretty good, but I am developing a man crush on Kaepernick.

There is no arguing that Kaepernick is (going to be) the better overall QB. But Smith got the royal screw job there. Can't argue that either.
