Irving is expected to miss four weeks with a fractured left index finger, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Spin: Irving injured his finger Saturday against Dallas, but it was initially thought to just be a bruise. It's a tough break for the Cavs and fantasy owners alike, as Irving was improving on his Rookie of the Year campaign from 2011-12 with averages of 22.9 points and 5.6 assists so far this season. It looks like Jeremy Pargo will now be the starter at point guard, with Donald Sloan coming off the bench.
Well that sucks for the Cavs. Or maybe not as it will help them land another good pick.
Stephen Jackson has a fractured right pinkie. He's expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
