With Hayward struggling with his shot and our team really struggling to get easy buckets in the paint and at the FT line Burks could have really made a difference last night.

Corbin sucks.
And Hayward his first two years showed he was so mature. It is about seeing time on the court Favors, Kanter, and Hayward have seen tons of time on the court and Burks hasn't seen the time hence his struggles. The fact is that this team isn't anything special so why not give him a chance.
To quote George "W" "For every fatal shooting, there were roughly three non-fatal shootings. And, folks, this is unacceptable in America. It's just unacceptable. And we're going to do something about it." --Philadelphia, Penn., May 14, 2001
Right, because Burks has shown us over the course of his young career that we shouldn't expect anything more than 20% free throw shooting from him.
I swear, some people act like last season never happened, and that the couple minutes here and there every few weeks when Burks finally gets on the court is exactly what we should expect if he was getting a consistent 20 minutes per game.
Kennykyle is kind of clueless when it comes to the burks situation.....very narrow minded only looking at his numbers in his limited time on the floor this season when he has been playing small forward and point guard as much as his preferred position of shooting guard..... also the majority of his minutes have been with end of the bench guys like evans and murphy.
All he can see are the numbers though, not what is happening to help make those numbers exist.
Yeah, but it does kind of show his lack of focus when he gets put into the game. He doesn't seem to look at getting into a blowout game as an opportunity, rather he sees it as a punishment.
Also, I thought it was kind of funny the moment someone gets injured to free up time for Burks (Mo), Watson comes back to take the minutes. If Watson was still injured, we would be seeing a Foye/Burks or a Burks/Hayward backcourt.

It started with Earl [Watson], Randy [Foye] and Marvin [Williams]–the veteran guys. I thought the young guys did a good job of following their lead getting us off to a good start. - referring to the Jazz/Bobcats game on 3/1/13
Earl, Randy, and Marvin started the first quarter 0-3, scored a whopping zero points, and finished with a turnover in the first quarter.
Your head coach of the Jazz ladies and gentlemen.
I don't think it shows us a damn thing. If we were to use such a small sample size, Millsap and Hayward must totally suck based on last night.
We have all of last season to go off of. The combined 20 minutes spread out over 5 games (or whatever he's gotten this season) don't mean anything. Of course the guy isn't going to play to his full potential if he only gets 4 minutes a week of playing time, and all of those minutes in garbage time with a bunch of scrubs who are all trying to showcase their own individual skills rather than play team ball.
Corbin himself has said many times that Burks deserves more minutes. The clowns on this board saying otherwise are clueless.
Wasn't disagreeing that he needs more minutes. Obviously I think he is better than his stats indicate, I just think you can tell from his body language in his limited time he doesn't play those garbage minuets as if they matter. That in turn has made for some really ****ty stats over a small period of time.

Personally I'm beginning to wonder if Burks "gets it" or even if he is good enough for PT. This is starting to remind me of the Mo Almond situation. Hopefully it doesn't turn out that way.
A-Train - "I would be happy with the Jazz if they picked Schroeder at #14 over Larkin"
He also rebounds well and ALWAYS draws fouls no matter the game situation or how many minutes he actually gets.... That is one area where he is very consistent. Getting to the line. (making the free throws on the other hand, not so much)
