Jazz front office is kept small town, loyal, good ole boys style. They don't go and fire anybody, because it's all Brokeback Mountain between staff. Kevin O Connor caters to the coach. He made good offseason moves, moves that a good coach could work with. You're going to give Corbin an extension after one season of basketball? Ok, so maybe he's just giving Corbin a couple of years to see if he pans out, but still.. You should be able to see right through Tyrone after the substitution travesty.
Tyrone Corbin has a lot of thickness in his skull. Probably being from the deep south, he just doesn't have the intelligence to coach at a professional level. Last year, he dominantly moved the offense through Al Jefferson; Jefferdad stayed on the floor in the process, and we know how he is on D.
He's trying that same nonsense this year, and after seeing it 3 years in a row coaches are going to catch onto Al Jefferson, and how he is being played here under the Sloan/Corbinism. He's incorporating a beyond washed up version of Jerry Sloans coaching, and it's obvious that he is holding Utah away from anything meaning of success. Jefferson should have already been gone whether it was amnesty, trade, waive, whatever. You can get a decent backup powerforward vet to relieve Favors. You can do the same with Kanter.
Whatever though, the additions could thrive off a new coach, also.
How do you think Corbin would do coaching this Laker team this year? Better than Mike Brown? He'd just stand around and act like a coach, become a bitch to Kobe Bryant, moreso than Brown... Probably. And the "Let's go guys! Hustle" midget league nonsense isn't going to give you a cookie at the end of the day either, Ty.
