Corbin isn't an offense-minded guy. That's obvious. Basic wrinkles in the O aren't there. This could be made up for if he'd commit to D, which, apparently, he won't do full-on. Sports aren't for Buddhists... the middle path isn't a sign of wisdom.
Think about this in relation to the bigs and Favors. I have heard Corbin say that he has put Fav in there at times "because we need the defense". I think this means when he has Al-Sap in there and then adds Favors to that mix. So what he is doing is admitting that one or both of his bigs, Al or Sap, are not defending well enough. But rather than yank one of them for playing poor D, he pulls out the SF and switches Sap there. So, in Corbin's system if you are Al or Sap you can play poor D and someone else gets benched. Nice.

Yep, I was saying this last year too. I just assumed that playing Favors at least 30+ was an afterthought and that one adjustment should help them team defense. I guess that's why your not supposed to assume anything.

You have to balls to say that when you pulled Alec after 16 minutes against LAC and Kanter got 19 minutes toinght?

This. Although, Jefferson's minutes are down.

If there was any synchronicity, we'd tell Al or Sap to be aggressively going for the shot while they know A) Hayward or Marvin are crashing while B) guys are moving on the perimeter to designated spots. That creates at least 2 passing opportunities to go along with the post offense, and then you have a huge rebounding advantage on the miss.

Instead, we leave Al and Sap hanging out to dry on the initial post entry. They pass out when they're doubled, and a wing player creates an ugly jumper, usually Mo.
coaching 101, eh? Your insights are spot on. Just imagine what a better coach could do with this group. I often wonder how Sloan would change this current team. Last night it looked like over dribbling and poor position with a couple chuckers on the team.

It's definitely time to move AJ, Mo and maybe someone else for an upgrade in PG.

Any video of Mo getting his T? I missed it.
