    Millsap Looks Horrible!

Millsap's defense has been nothing short of awful so far this season. He has played a huge role in allowing penetrating wings to get easy layups (although the hate crowd will undoubtedly blame it on Jefferson, regardless).

Who here would support Corbin benching him in favor of Kanter even though it would cost the Jazz plenty of games?

I think he should come off the bench, with favors starting, or we play the big 3 lineup of jefferson, favors, and millsap more.
No good options to choose from in your poll however so no votes from me.

It sucks that basketball players are human beings with egos. We need Millsap to come off the bench. I love the guy. He wouldn't lose any status in my eyes if he came off the bench. It'd be opposite actually if he did it with a positive attitude, but I don't think it'd go down like that.

The most bizarre thing about this post is the idea that Kanter should be starting. (Kanter + Al??? Kanter hasn't been good so far this year)
Playing well is priority #1 and nothing outside of that is really even close. If you're hoping someone else ****s up, then you don't deserve the break.

Millsap is an energy player. The second unit really needs some energy and a go to guy. If we don't do this, we are going to see Foye hoist up shots galore. I think this would help Favors and Millsap.

If you bench Millsap for a player that hasn't earned the start, you had better trade him because he won't re-sign and that would suck.

I have no doubts that Millsap would be a good soldier on a team that's winning and behind two players that there is no doubt are better.

    Agreed.
Why was there no option for starting Favors, or starting the big 3?

Trade trade trade him..before he loses more value..other teams might still be fooled and think he is a legit starting PF. I dont buy that he will be cool coming off the bench. As Numb said, to do that you have to start players that he is better than right now. It might be best for the future Jazz, but no way Sap would be cool playing a bench role as Kanter starts. No way in hell, IMO. And to be truthful, I wouldnt blame him. If I were Sap, and Kanter started ahead of me, I would freak out.

1280 radio had an NBA scout-ESPN guy, 4 pm Monday. He said that they will not really go anywhere with Sap as the PF.

I tend to agree, he is just too small. He can look great at times but bigger guys can make him dissappear. And he lead the league in fouling.

    1. You mean we'd lose MORE than 75% of our games?
    2. It's really a rhetorical question because we all know Corbin is never going to bench a veteran in order to play a 20-yr old.

Fortunately, the play of Millsap is likely dropping his value. So look for KOC/Lindsey to make the bold move of only offering him a deal for 6 yrs/$72M.
When one door closes, another doesn't open....instead, I find myself being locked in a room with padded walls and no windows.

So it would cost us many games? Umm were 1 and 3, I don't think it will cost us any....
