If you did that during the Stockton era he would have looked like even more of an assisting behemoth. I read an article back in the day that if "total offense" was scored the way it is in hockey Stockton would have been the most potent offensive player in all of professional sports, by a good margin, with Jordan a distant 2nd.
The extra pass is one of the most underrated things in basketball.
Im glad for it I have thought the set up pass should be tracked since high school bball.
