Yeah, I fell for the hype, you know all that stuff about him fitting in better here, and he still might, but he needs to change everything that he's been doing for eightish years so I will give him some time to adjust. I just wish that while he adjusted other talented players who were here before him could get some more time.
If Marvin would drive to the hoop he'd be much better suited. Whenever he drives the ball good things happen. Offensively, it just seems like he isn't really looking for anything.
He has had some good games. He is playing with chuckers galore in mo, foye and bi gal. Kind of like atl all over again
When he is aggressive he fits great, his 3 pt shooting will come back to averages.
Meh eh sigh, um hmm, er uh, der
Dude looked good in the preseason. I had some high hopes for him. I thought we had a guy who could hit a shot consistently. He totally disappears on the road.
Maybe he'll find his grove later on in the season. He did shoot 39% from 3 last year. I cant imagine it was like this where he disappears.
He'll be fine if the team ever starts running an actual offense. Mo dribbling around the top of the key for 9 seconds isn't an offense.
"I'm a moron for thinking the Browns could even sniff 10 wins in a division where the other three teams (two of whom almost always make the playoffs) made the post-season last year. Gyp Rosetti's thee God of football knowledge." - Brown Notes
So much for the change of scenery.
In the words of the great Buckaroo Banzai - No matter where you go, there you are.
After watching this guy closely for 11 games, he just doesn't strike me as a very intense person. He'll play hard for a few series on either side of the court and then he'll go through the motions for the rest of his burn. The guy is loaded with talent, so they'll be nights here and there where he puts things together and scores 20 and we'll all start threads on how he's turned a corner or why can't he do this every night.
He's just another talented NBA player who is just glad to be here to collect his millions.
He plays pretty good defense, but he's content to coast and be a 3rd or 4th option.

2nd round: Carmichael, Hardaway Jr., Adonis Thomas, James Southerland
His self rejection at the rim the other night was pretty epic. Ostertag style!
