I don't hate it, but the Magic get the best deal in that situation. Afflalo for Cole Aldrich, T Jones, and Burks? That's heavy rebuilding ammo.
The Rockets lose in that trade by getting Milsap for T Jones, Patterson (who is really good), and Aldrich.

I do like the idea of Burks + Milsap + filler for Bledsoe.

I do agree that the rockets give up too much. But I think some could argue that one of the main pieces of the Dwight trade was Afflalo. So I think the Magic think very highly of him. Somebody could include a draft pick.
Patterson could easily stay and they could give the clippers something else that is more fair.
I am not sold on it either. Just the idea of Burks and Millsap for Bledsoe. Just need to find the right pieces. Only way the Clippers do the trade is if they get someone like Afflalo. Somebody who can play man to man defense and hit the open 3 point shot.

I dont think the Jazz would just release Odom. They wont even release Bell.
