This would be a good move for Murphy. Coming from a small school the D-League well put him against grown men and I think could help his development when it comes to confidence and feel for the NBA game.

Yes, please do that. Burks too if they won't play him/trade him.

Great line from Jazz GM Dennis Lindsey on rookie Kevin Murphy's new D-League assignment: "We don't want him to be a pig scorer."

This is the type of Texas talk Dennis Lindsey said he'd bring. RT@RobTmanJr: "pig scorer" needs to trend on Twitter. We can make this happen

They should send Kanter there as well. He plays same minutes like last year but his numbers are down and he looks horrible to be honest. 35 min a game in NBDL and having a chance to score 25+pts would be beneficial for him I think.
"I was originally a Jazz fan but since I am getting pooped on so hard on the Jazz forums it is really starting to make me wish Kanter develops into the Kevin McHale potential he has and make the Jazz look bad. Nothing would make me happier at this point." Unidentified Kanter homer on reddit.

    Kevin Murphy's 'official' nickname:

    WHO?

Seriously tho, he's talented from what I have seen, but as long as Burks is on the team not getting time, he sure isn't going to get any.
