    Gut the team

    Keep Favors, Kanter, Hayward, Burks...

Trade everyone else worth anything to a team for picks. Jefferson. Millsap. Marvin. Mo. Foye.

Our young uns would get major burn. And we gotta be able to get some decent picks for these clowns, stockpile some of them, and get a true Alpha Dog through the draft. And then Lindsey can make an intelligent signing or two in the off-season. And then a ring will come. That is all.

    This team sucks.

The most painful thing is watching Corbin pull the strings.

He went with the big line up, and we won. He changed the line up again, and we looked worse. Also, he seems to be going out of his way to not get Burks involved.

I, HeavenHarris, hereby pledge to my fellow JFC'rs that I will no longer give out neg-reps. All it does is cause negative things, like fights, drama, bitching, ill will, bad feelings, etc.
Love, not hate, is the answer bros and moes.

LOL Lol breaks his pledge 5 days later hahahaha

I'm dreaming up three-team trades that involve us unloading vets to teams interested in a deep run, us getting a young prospect on a rookie-scale contract, and the third team getting the unwanted contract and the pick from the first team. The third team needs cap room and to want picks. We are looking to have zero long-term commitments other than cheap contracts and for players we are keenly interested in. This means we take a bit less than market value, but we don't get the unwanted fat.

I'm looking at Bledsoe and Marshall.

The GS pick goes to the best big available.

    Loaded

    Bledsoe/Marshall/Mo
    Hayward/Burks/Mo (i still see Mo getting 23 min/game at pg + sg)
    Marvin/Hayward/Evans
    Favors/kanter/pick
    Kanter/favors/pick
    (first update) Offseason to-do list:
    (no order)
    1. Let Mo, Foyeeee3, Al (s&t?), Watson, and Tinsley go.
    2. Re-sign Carroll
    3. Draft McCollum, Schroeder, and Giannis (leave the latter two in Europe for a year [maybe two years for Giannis]).
    4. Sign Tony Allen
    5. Try to keep Millsap. If that doesn't work, explore s&t options.
    6. Remove Corbin. Hire Brad Stevens or SVG.
    7. Sign Calderon to a one-year (2 max) deal, or see if the cash-strapped Lakers will let us absorb Nash's last year.

I know its pre-season but during it when our offense seemed up tempo and running, we were slicing up teams. Get rid of Al and RUN.

Defense wins titles. Until guys like BigAl, Foye plays big minutes this will be just a 0.5 team.

Guys who can't do it on defense must play vs 2nd tier players to have more chances on defense and to dominate on offense.

Well, right now we have all the tools to be an athletic and good defensive team. If Corbin thinks that it will be always like this, I'm not so sure.

That worked when Mo was in. Tinsley and Watson not so much.
Can Mo stay healthy for long stretches?

I don't think I've ever been this apathetic about a Jazz team. They're not fun to watch and in those instances when they show signs of life, I know it will be short lived because Corbin's going to bring Jefferson and Millsap back in the game and kill any joy that I found.

At this point Big Al is like that girlfriend you really need to break up with but end up keeping around for six months too long because she cooks pretty well and you're feeling lazy.

Relax. All this team needs is 4 more games at the end of the season. That extra experience will be the magic solution to all our problems. I say keep everybody and make our push to slip into the 8th spot, and hope some other teams have injury problems. Then our season will be a huge success.

The worst thing that maybe ever happened was making the WCF for no other reason than Dallas got upset in the first round.

This is what this team needs. This and a set or ten of balls.
