Faried would make Millsap more tradeable and be cheaper, at least for the next 3 seasons. A future big man trio of Kanter and Favors starting with Faried off the bench would have been huge.
I am in know way giving up on Burks as I think he could be our DeRozan, but the dude needs a chance to play and contribute and he doesn't appear to be earning his minutes (at least in Corbin's eyes).

Faried is noticeably more athletic than Millsap and has almost 3 inches of standing reach on him. It seems to make all the difference in the world as far as finishing in the paint.
Faried wouldn't get any minutes, just like Burkes. Sadly Burkes should get more minutes as his potential is off the charts. Dumb player management and minute allocation.
