Why isn't Favors starting games as well. There is no reason he should be getting any less than 30 minutes a game.

It started with Earl [Watson], Randy [Foye] and Marvin [Williams]–the veteran guys. I thought the young guys did a good job of following their lead getting us off to a good start. - referring to the Jazz/Bobcats game on 3/1/13
Earl, Randy, and Marvin started the first quarter 0-3, scored a whopping zero points, and finished with a turnover in the first quarter.
Your head coach of the Jazz ladies and gentlemen.
Millsap has shown us how clutch he is time and time again, tweener or not.

I've always liked Paul and he's been loyal to this team. However, Favors does deserve the time - needs it. I wish Paul would embrace the 6th man role as well, because he'd be awesome there. But if someone has to go, even though I like Paul better than Al (with his poor defense), it does make sense for pure height to keep Al around to play the 5. I'd hate Paul to go, but if he doesn't wanna be #6 I don't see how you can keep both he and Favors happy. And Favors is the future of this team.
You know squat. You know less than squat. You and Squat could go to the movies and Squat could wear an "I'm with Stupid" t-shirt!
Millsap has proven that he is a clutch player a few times in his career. Miami comes to mind. In close games, he should be on the court instead of Foye.
The final 5 should be:
Jefferson
Favors
Millsap
Hayward
PG (any of the 3 are fine with me)
In talking of how Jefferson plays the 5 and Sap does not you would think that eventually we want to put some trust into our #3 pick ala Enes Kanter. So if Favors played out of position for a bit it wouldn't be much of a problem. Not saying that AJ should stick around as opposed to Sap, because I would probably take the best I could get for either. Sap is probably more moveable though. I've grown to like Big Al. Last night I loved the post up, pass out and then repost to Al via Hayward for the finish at the rim.

God damn this debate is old....
Millsap would be a great sixth man. So would Jefferson.
Continue...
I just saw Millsap at a Chevron. When I introduced myself as franklin he damn near punched me in the face. Okay, that part was a lie; I was too star struck to say a single word. But I did walk right past him carrying a poop eating grin. This made my day. Carry on hating whatever it is you're hating on regarding the Jazz.
Oh, and most importantly, he drives a bad ass white Bentley with red interior.
Millsap has played terrible this year. He deserves to be sitting. Favors not playing 30+MPG is inexcusable.
Please FO, Please do the right thing and FIRE CORBIN. Then let all of Millsap, Mo, Tinsley, Watson, and Jefferson walk. Re-sign Carrolle and get a real freaking PG.
If we end up chosing Al over Paul it will be incredibly short-sighted and based purely on the here-and-now. But, I kind of expect it from the Greg Miller-era Utah Jazz.
Its not choosing one over the other, IMO, its choosing which one fits in with the younger guys better. AT this point, that is Jefferson.
