Its sad to see. Burks is full of potential. He needs minutes on a regular basis to show what he can do, otherwise he'll just rot on the bench...poor kid
Don't underestimate what a positive attitude and passing rep to the players that actually play can do for a team.
He needs to make a few positive statements in the huddles, and he needs to get a few butt slaps in there.
If he gets 5 or more of any combination of these things, we win this game!

Yeah butt-slapping is under-rated.
You look at the top bench warmers in this league and they're butt-slapping at a rate of 3-4 butts/quarter. We had a guy by the name of Jarron Collins who mastered the technique.
Butt slaping has been noted, i will tweet burks to let him know, maybe put a message on his facebook wall. lol

1) Is that particular scene worthy of a butt-slap?
2) Eventually crap front court defense overcomes lack of butt-slapping and that was the problem in the LA series. You can't blame a Hall of Famer in Collins for that.
I've noticed the increase of butt slap rate on this team lately (even Corbin consistently performs it). So Burks won't be needed on that category.. Too much butt slap can cause skin chafing.

I heard Locke's call of this on the radio this morning.
DJ and PK were mocking it because he got excited and said Marvin threw down some dirty filth or something like that and they wanted every text to come in with that at the beginning.
I agree, Locke should be mocked for his stupid wordagery.

I was listening to the opening quarter in the truck last night, and I was pleased with Locke, I could actually tell what was happening in the game. Then I tuned in later, after the kids ran me off the TV, and heard the Marvin dunk call, I was dissappointed. Great energy, wrong word choices.
What is wrong with thunderous, awesome, powerful, or monster dunk? They all tell the same story, without overselling it.
