Nice effort. Beat the Lakers and Warriors and new are going to give our really bad defense a workout.
Build a man a fire; keep him warm for a day. Light a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of this life.
Repeating the same actions and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.
This is a game we have to win, and I think we will.
Orlando is decent, but very beatable team in SLC.

"Most nights (The Jazz) couldn’t stop a grandpa with a walker, particularly if he gave a head fake."
Is Bavetta reffing?
Orlando plays solid right now, but this game should be an easy W.
Orlando is dangerous. Their 3 point shooting alone scares me.
Corbin sucks.
so the jgolds stoked threads are 0 and 1. but the jgolds threads so far have a clean record 0 and 0..... lets hope for better luck and better refs. maybe bavetta died in his sleep last night, if so we have a chance!

Kind of want to see Nikola Vucevic play. He was drafted 16 when Jazz drafted Kanter 3rd. Vucevic plays more, and I think all his numbers are better. Vucevic plays 29 minutes 10 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.25 blocks.
Kanter plays 14 minutes, 6 points, 4 rebounds, less than 1 assist, .53 blocks
That 'upside' will get you every time.

you know i dont agree with everyone saying bomb the season. you look at utah though the years. after stackton and malone left people were yelling rebulid as well. but during those years we made the play offs every year except 2 i think, and then dwill was ready to take over and we went to the western conf finals.we accomplished a few good learning playoff runs for our young in experinced guys, and then we took it to the west. jazz org have shown they can do both. this is a rebulid year for jazz. and we dont have to be lottery bound to rebuild.

So when are Kanters minutes going to transform? Vucivic plays Kanter doesn't. Paying Kanter 5 million to enjoy the games from the front row makes no sense to me.
Its a game thread so I won't rattle on about why teams shouldn't draft project big men in the top 5 picks or why the wiser move for the Jazz would have been Knight/ Vuceivic or Knight/Leonard.
Anyways, I came back to post this news about Marvin.
Marvin Williams was upgraded to a gametime decision Wednesday for the 7 p.m. game against the Orlando Magic after he did not experience headaches following Tuesday's practice.
"I'm doing much, much better," the Jazz's starting small forward said.
