If it makes you feel better that pic is a M240 not a 50 Cal. The M240 is 7.62mm and by comparison the 50 cal is 12.7mm, here is a pic of a 50 cal.

We put our blood sweet, tears, and ****s into our/your thread, and then in jumps Golds, staying true to his namesake with his flashy ways trying to buy adulation. I stand firm with you UGLI. It's kind of like Paul Bunyan (and his heart and soul) against Joe Muffaw (and his money and machinery).

Bunyan didn't even win, but sometimes it's not if you win or lose; it's how well you start a thread that seemingly has no purpose at all that seemingly has no rhyme or reason to its topic and then offhandedly think that it can become a game thread because of its ex tempore brilliance and then cajole the Mods into making it a game thread. That's what counts!
