Damn, any update on the Favs?
Damn, any update on the Favs?
(first update) Offseason to-do list:
(no order)
1. Let Mo, Foyeeee3, Al (s&t?), Watson, and Tinsley go.
2. Re-sign Carroll
3. Draft McCollum, Schroeder, and Giannis (leave the latter two in Europe for a year [maybe two years for Giannis]).
4. Sign Tony Allen
5. Try to keep Millsap. If that doesn't work, explore s&t options.
6. Remove Corbin. Hire Brad Stevens or SVG.
7. Sign Calderon to a one-year (2 max) deal, or see if the cash-strapped Lakers will let us absorb Nash's last year.
If Corbin had any stones, then he'd start Favors against Duncan and bring Jefferson off the bench. I'd rather Jefferson get abused by Manu-Splitter than Parker-Duncan.

i know it sometimes is affective and at other times isnt, but we might be able to do a little bit of paul at the 3 and fav at the 4 and then enes or al at the 5 tonight. spurs are a little slower and they play a solid half court offense almost all game. it might be a good move jsut to mix up the defence and offensive skeems to keep SAS on their toes.
thoughts?
Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them.

Let's see if Hayward can play like Ginobli tonight!!! COME ON GORDON!
The Spurs are a well-oiled machine, but no team is immune to this. Last year, I made impassioned calls for a game plan specifically designed to draw fouls and break Pop's substituting machine. Make him play combinations of players that aren't optimal. The only way to do this is to pound for the sake of drawing fouls and relentlessly screen their wings.

The Spurs are ****ing amazing.
I'm satisfied if we lose by single digits.
This is the biggest test we've had this season.
We've played well the past few games, but didn't face a team that was playing well.
We are at home, have Favors back, and should be feeling pretty good about ourselves.
Will we come back down to reality tonight? I sure hope not
