The said thing is even with positive results with a small group (5 people in trial, one terminal--after treatment all got better with only one of the participants with any remaining cancer but that participant had a 90% reduction) they were having a hard time getting funding. Not completely sure, I skimmed it, but it doesnt seem like it.
In a nutshell the HIV virus is deactivated making it benign but the body recognizes it as needing to be killed off and kicks the immune system into overdrive killing off the cancer instead.

Wow. Amazing! But, and not to sound like Silencer here, it'll be ashame once the Feds/FDA/Big Pharma intervene. No way this ever becomes the "cure" for cancer.
So far it is only being used for leukemia. Cost of treatment is about $20k so it's mot like it's dirt cheap.
