I wonder what Lindsey does on Sundeees?
On my Sundaes, I usually add chocolate, caramel and strawberry sauce and put a cherry on top. Oh yeah, and don't forget the whipped cream...or am I confusing that with another, ahem, "dessert" that I like to indulge in.

There is a fine line between being patient and missing your mark.

Jazz management are too patient, too conservative, too dull, too boring. You cant sit on your hands forever. You have to take some risks at some point. You cant play the conservative patient card forever. Just like you cant be too risky and too aggressive. You need balance and the jazz are too far on one side of the spectrum. They try so hard to out think everyone that they just screw themselves.

    (first update) Offseason to-do list:
    (no order)
    1. Let Mo, Foyeeee3, Al (s&t?), Watson, and Tinsley go.
    2. Re-sign Carroll
    3. Draft McCollum, Schroeder, and Giannis (leave the latter two in Europe for a year [maybe two years for Giannis]).
    4. Sign Tony Allen
    5. Try to keep Millsap. If that doesn't work, explore s&t options.
    6. Remove Corbin. Hire Brad Stevens or SVG.
    7. Sign Calderon to a one-year (2 max) deal, or see if the cash-strapped Lakers will let us absorb Nash's last year.

Just because Lindsey isn't as impulsive as Jazz fans, and doesn't blow everything up after every loss, doesn't mean he doesn't have a long term vision for this team.

If anything I know about Spurs execs, is that they're not impulsive.

How many teams make trades this early in the season? Most wait until right near the deadline to get anything done.

He needs to **** or get off the pot. Hey mods, I got two positive reps to get me off of 7 and I am still on 7. Looks like someone else needs to get off the pot.

Didn't KOC once say Jazz and everyone else are talking trades all year long.
And they will make a trade if the offer is good.
Jazz probably have not had any decent offers for any of their players including Jefferson or Millsap.
And they may not get any. Every other team knows Jefferson and Millsap's flaws.
Why would they offer Jazz a lopsided trade in the Jazz favor?

That's the point. Those guys don't have much value and the trade deadline will come and go with no change.

Which adds to the wasted year as the guys getting the majority of minutes won't be here next year.

I'm still trying to wait to pass a judgment with any real totality (there are a lot of things that have to align on the market, after all [notwithstanding that Al should've had his ticket punched out of here at minute 49 of Game 4 last year]), but I can say with complete confidence that if the Jazz just end up letting the FAs walk this year and not making a trade, we will have seen a dazzling level of incompetence and totally lost opportunity.
Playing well is priority #1 and nothing outside of that is really even close. If you're hoping someone else ****s up, then you don't deserve the break.

I don't know where I read it but there was somethin that said KOC gave Dennis Lindsey a long list of moves that he wouldn't be comfortable with him making and that KOC is stopping DL from doing a lot of things. I know it's hard, but don't blame DL. Blame KOC.
