I should have put in an option to vote for... I dont care one way or the other.

Can i edit the poll to have that 3rd option?

Also i made the poll anonymous (non public)

Is there even an argument against it anymore?

When Colorado ski resorts start taking dollars from Utah ski resorts, this will become a pretty serious topic in Utah.

Utah will legalize it within 10 years, you heard it here first.

Legalized? I feel that it should be made mandatory for some people. Half your country needs to chill the **** out.

I couldn't figure out how to edit the poll. If you want to start another one, go ahead and we'll lock/delete this one. But don't forget to add the cheese option.

Of course. Banning a plant is stupid.
It started with Earl [Watson], Randy [Foye] and Marvin [Williams]–the veteran guys. I thought the young guys did a good job of following their lead getting us off to a good start. - referring to the Jazz/Bobcats game on 3/1/13

Earl, Randy, and Marvin started the first quarter 0-3, scored a whopping zero points, and finished with a turnover in the first quarter.

Yes for a few reasons. The major ones for me are:

    - No worse than alcohol
    - No more jailing of pot users decreases burden on jails
    - Source of a large stream of revenue.

The only good reason I've heard for not legalizing marijuana and its not really a good reason is ... We made a mistake making alcohol legal again, lets not make another mistake with marijuana. But yeah, my wife would probably let me smoke again if it was legal so im all for it.

I'm okay with the legalization of Marijuana. If Liquor is legal in moderate consumption, so should Marijuana. I think we would earn a lot of tax money and take money away from some of the local gangs who are selling the drug on the streets. Also, law enforcement would be able to use its resources against more destructive drugs.

    Legalize it.
I see no more harm in Marijuana than Alcohol.

The medical benefits alone make it a good reason to be legalized.

The revenue as has been stated would be a plus as well. Sure the argument could be made that there is already revenue due to the arrests, but really, isn't that more of a cost than revenue? The jail population would decrease slightly, but I see that as a plus as it would allow more space for the more serous offenders that need to be in prison/jail.

I do hope that someday soon marijuana will be legalized in all 50 states.

I say no because cops would have to set people up by planting much harsher drugs like cocaine instead of a joint like they do now.

    Just kidding. Kind of.

I honestly don't care. I do think weed diminishes ambition, which bothers me more than anything. Not sure we need a bunch more pothead teenagers than we already have.

I'm not really passionate about it either way. The pros and cons weigh themselves pretty well, imo.

What makes you think there would be more usage amongst minors than there already is? How many teenagers do you know that drink but don't smoke pot simply because it's illegal? If you know even one, that's one more than I've ever known.
Playing well is priority #1 and nothing outside of that is really even close. If you're hoping someone else ****s up, then you don't deserve the break.

Not that many. But I do know several underage people that do not drink because it is illegal. If pot were legal I think there would absolutely be an increase in smokers.
