Look at who has been around him.
I'd take a PG who puts up 16/8. The concern is his outside shooting - only 29% on his 3's his rookie season and 7% last year. And his injury may be worse than what we've heard; he's still experiencing pain and swelling and may miss the entire season.

There's a reason no one wants Calderon. There's also a reason having too many players who can play is a problem. Especially for a moron like Corbin.
hu? And I thought you wanted someone who could run a team and get assists, because that's what Calderon can do, and a very good shooter. You seem to be contradicting your self. You don't want a pg like Bledsoe, because he's not a true pg, and you don't want Calderon, who is a pass first system guy, who isn't flashy, but gets the job done. It would be nice to get an Allstar pg, but that's just not realistic.

Also according to all the draft experts, there isn't that kind of pg in the draft for the next several years.

I know the clipps have won 13 straight, but they are thin at SF and pf. Bledsoe isn't a godsend, but Marvin and Millsap have to look a lot better than Odom and Barnes. Clipps will look to add a guy or two for a deep push.

You agree to a quick buyout with Odom, and he probably returns to the Clipps. For facilitating this quickly, we get a late-first outta the deal.

    So, essentially:

    Jazz out: Millsap
    Jazz in: Bledsoe + pick

Clipps fortify PF and SF in one deal... become even more legit.

This move doesn't mean we don't pursue the hell out of Teague in the offseason.

Then, to complete this xmas gift, we swap Al for Calderon + token big.

    Rest of this year:
    Bledsoe/Calderon/Tinsley
    Mo/Burks/Hayward
    Hayward/Marvin
    Marvin/Favors/journeyman
    Favors/Kanter
