Big Al is a vet, Marvin -again a vet-, Carrol has earned his time through gritty play and hard work, Earl plays because he is the only PG backup who doesn't run with a cane, Foye has established his ability to nail a 3 multiple times in a game which the Jazz needed, and Millsap earned his time through -again- gritty play and hard work.Ya, that was brilliant. Being a vet is more than just Raja'ish pride and arrogance, it is proving the ability to contribute to winning a game, and all of the players who are playing have done this. Admittedly they haven't been on top of it lately, maybe teams have watched tape and found their weaknesses lately, but until someone shows the ability to outperform them than they will be first on the floor.
Why would we be pissed that we have a great player?
Playing well is priority #1 and nothing outside of that is really even close. If you're hoping someone else ****s up, then you don't deserve the break.

None of these guys are stars, or have earned some sort of free pass. Especially Carrol. He did earn the minutes he got, but they don't go on forever.
He should be on a short leash. Heavens knows Kanter, and Burks are. Why on earth would Carrol be above them because of a good patch of games?

It's just messed up that we are letting a talent like Burks rot on the bench the first half of the season.... Especially how he did at the end if the last season, summer league and pre-season!!!
