Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory.
Hey, I think we may have our first JazzFanz fight.
Archie lifts the most, and I know I remember him challenging anyone here to a boxing match before. And now we have Dutch guaranteeing he would woop the guy who lifts the most.
So there we go. It's a perfect match.
That unless both of you are just all talk.
Dutch talks like he has big balls because he's in Europe. I do it cause it's online.
Last squat max earlier this year: 405
Last deadlift earlier this year: 465
Last bench in September: 385
However, Olympic lifts really did a number on me (I suck at them anyway). That plus plantar fasciitis led me to back off lower body (I do elliptical BS now). But I was still lifting heavy upper-body. Thought 400 was in sight but then something happened with my elbows. Doctors think it was most likely over-training. We are still not sure.
Anyway, so scoped the knee and the elbow 2 weeks ago. Gonna bring both along slowly. Lower body feels great actually and would love to get back into basketball if that were possible. We'll see.

how much does a Big Mac weigh?

don't lift anymore as with all soccer and basketball there is just no time or need to put up weight - being lighter actually helps my game way more than being heavier. But my best some years ago was 210 bench, 265 dead lift and 285 squat.
"I was originally a Jazz fan but since I am getting pooped on so hard on the Jazz forums it is really starting to make me wish Kanter develops into the Kevin McHale potential he has and make the Jazz look bad. Nothing would make me happier at this point." Unidentified Kanter homer on reddit.
Those 2 might be the best lifts out there. Throw in power clean and you have the top 3 lifts one can do.
I don't max anymore mostly out of fear of injury (and I hate asking for spotters).
But I'm 6'1" 220 lbs,
Rep 245 bench 5 times (I've been stuck here for a while. Any tips? Let me know)
Squat 365 5 times. I'm pretty happy with that.
Haven't power cleaned in over a year. I once sprained my wrist lifting a glass rack at a restaurant and it hasn't been the same since. Doing the whole power clean motion hurts like hell. Plus, my form kinda sucks. I try to use my wrists as little as possible and engage the legs. I just can't do it. I definitely miss them though and their awesome benefits. About 6 months ago I tried power cleaning using only the bar and the strain of just bringing the 45 lbs bar up from the ground hurt my wrist.
Haven't deadlifted in a while. Definitely need to start them again. Probably tomorrow.
