I think there were many factors. I also believe signing Raja instead of Mathews played a big part.
I think Jerry was just fed up with a lot of things. Deron's attitude, Al's inability to grasp basketball theories, Raja inability to hit a shot. Pretty much the fact that the team took a huge step backwards and he wasnt in the mood for a rebuild.
