As far as exposure, you'd get your yearly game against Boise and could continue scheduling strong out of conference games. It's also a clearer path to a BCS bowl which would obviously help with exposure.
The old MWC TV deal is a thing of the past, and if the Boise deal is any indication, BYU probably wouldn't lose much money, if any at all by rejoining the MWC.
If the money stayed close to the same, I think BYU would be foolish not to do it. Odds are, the Big 12 isn't calling, they'd have a clearer path to the BCS in the conference, scheduling would become a ton easier, and with the MWC doormats in place, BYU could still got out and schedule 3 really good out of conference games to help with continued exposure.
