    Fact or Fiction

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...building-block

I know there will be lots of whining about the source of this article, but I thought it would be a start to a decent discussion here. Feel free to post your own fact or fiction list of Jazz players to keep (or building blocks as the article uses).

I disagreed about letting go of some players (Tinsley and Evans for example) and I recognize they aren't building blocks, but they will round out the roster just fine.

Agree with most except Earl Watson and Jeremy Evans. I think they are here for a while.

I pretty much agree with the article. Tinsley and Evan's value are easily replaced and this article is about who you need to keep. Too bad he did not get into the coaching as that may be the weakest and more critical link of all.

They are not building blocks in any way shape or form. They are bit players and easily replaced.

I agree...I'd love to see Millsap take on a 6th man role, getting tons of playing time at PF and SF(if he can). Back up PG's need to go, too old, bad passes.

Not missing much Franklin, it shows a picture of each player and classifies him as a keeper (fact) or non-keeper (fiction).

    My own list:

    Burks, Kanter, Favors, Hayward --Fact.

The rest of the players-- Fiction.

Sidney Lowe and the 6-5 'big men' coach --fiction

I pretty much agree with the article except Tinsley and Mo Williams.

I'd like to keep Tinsley as a back-up for now; but Mo is not the starting PG for this team.

Nothing compelling about the article - but a fairly informed piece. Especially considering the source.

I still like Mo for this team, but not as a starting PG.

If he were a starting SG alongside Teague, and played half of his minutes as backup PG, then I'd be happy. He seems to have good characteristics as a vet leader.

I agreed on 11 players. I see Jefferson and Marvin Williams as keepers, and would put Millsap and Mo Williams into the not-keepers categories. Jefferson would be a great bench player.
