I guess I'm in the minority but I don't give a **** if he juiced. The dude overcame cancer and then won the tour de france several times in a row. What was it, like 7 times or something?
You mean if I stick a needle in my ass I can win the tour de france? No? Of course not.
Today's steroids were last century's vitamins and exercise equipment and machines. Science has been trying to enhance physical performance for centuries. Why it's suddenly considered taboo is beyond me.
The dude overcame cancer, and then won the tour de france, like 7 times. We're seriously condemning him for juicing up? Even though everyone else was juicing up too? Why?
Let me see anyone on this board, or reporting on this story in the media, win the tour de france even once. Juice up all you want and tell me how it instantly made you superman, lol.
Vindictive, conspiratorial, lying, cheating, smug azhole that used his position to ruin the careers of people trying to make an honest living and to ruin the careers and reputation of people who tried to speak the truth.
Yea, the cheaters should get all the money and glory, and honest decent people are pond scum losers (sarc) . Whatever yo.
unsubstantiated - wrong
draw line - wrong
hyopoc - wrong
besides which , your entire post misses the points of my post.
Cheating might be somewhat forgiveable. The lying and suing & trying to destroy people who were telling the truth makes him a huge a-hole.
I think their actions damages the reputation of their sport. However I think any involvement by government thru court cases, hearings...is idiotic.

I, HeavenHarris, hereby pledge to my fellow JFC'rs that I will no longer give out neg-reps. All it does is cause negative things, like fights, drama, bitching, ill will, bad feelings, etc.
Love, not hate, is the answer bros and moes.
LOL Lol breaks his pledge 5 days later hahahaha
The problem with the "just let every one do it" position is that apparently not everyone gets an equal boost from PEDs. While there have been no scientific studies done, the anecdotal evidence strongly suggests people react differently when a PED is introduced into their system. Some people get a huge boost, some get a negligible boost. In a recent Sports Illustrated Article, one US Cyclist who claims he was pressured to use EPO by Armstrong said he didn't get any benefit from them at all.
So while Armstrong is clearly a world class cyclist, he may not be the best one - just the one whose body reacts the best to drugs.
