    Best off-night of the season?

    Memphis, Denver, Houston, and Portland all lost tonight. Golden State is currently down 26 points halfway in the fourth quarter against the Heat.

    Utah jumped from 9th in the standings, to 7th. And all without playing a game!

    Need more nights like this.

    Best night because Golden State might start getting worse and we get the 10th-12th pick of the draft.

    I predicted GS was due for an epic collapse. They held out much longer than I could have thought, but it does seem in order now.

    Curry hurting his ankle (again) could help a lot when it comes to GS losing some games. But Yeah I mentioned in another thread that the Jazz could be moving up quite a few spots in the West if they can take care of the home court for this next stretch.

    According to Jackson, Curry won't be out long. I say karma is a mother ****ing bitch and I hope they rush him back.
    (first update) Offseason to-do list:
    (no order)
    1. Let Mo, Foyeeee3, Al (s&t?), Watson, and Tinsley go.
    2. Re-sign Carroll
    3. Draft McCollum, Schroeder, and Giannis (leave the latter two in Europe for a year [maybe two years for Giannis]).
    4. Sign Tony Allen
    5. Try to keep Millsap. If that doesn't work, explore s&t options.
    6. Remove Corbin. Hire Brad Stevens or SVG.
    7. Sign Calderon to a one-year (2 max) deal, or see if the cash-strapped Lakers will let us absorb Nash's last year.

    Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is out indefinitely after spraining his right ankle. Yes, that ankle. "It was really a freak injury," Warriors coach Mark Jackson said before Wednesday night's game against Miami. "We don't do much in shootaround -- (he was) just chasing after a loose rebound. It's unfortunate. We will shut him down. He'll get treatment, and we'll see where he goes." link

    GS Tankers started off the season hot, but are 5-5 in their last 10 (including an 11 point win against the Jazz). 5th in the West, 7th in the League.

    Their next 10 games are :

    @ SA
    @ NO
    LAC
    OKC
    @CHI
    @MIL
    @TOR
    @CLE
    DAL
    PHX

    I can see a 1-4 in their next 5, after that....?

    Curry
    Thompson/Rush
    Barnes
    Lee
    Bogut

    If they miss the playoffs this season it will be the last time for a very, very long time.

    Will never forget their tank job to get Barnes.

    Never.

    This Headline from Tim Kawakami, a Warriors beat writer.

    The Stephen Curry Void: He’s the Warriors’ MVP, and for as long he’s out, they’re lottery-level

    BTW, I really like reading Kawakami, not even my dislike of the Warriors, or my disgust of Mark Jackson can keep me from reading his articles and tweets.

    More from the article-
    Curry isn’t a classic get-to-the-rim-and-finish-or-dish point guard, but his shooting abilities scare opponent coaches so much that he basically causes the same amount of defensive angst.

    Defensses have to run at Curry with anybody available–and the Warriors’ coaches have done a good job of figuring out how to get Curry to good spots–and that’s how Klay Thompson, David Lee and Co. get their shots and get rhythm going
    .

    The Warriors have benefited immensely from a two-headed point guard situation, with Curry starting, Jarrett Jack coming in as the back-up, then the two playing together for long stretches, usually to close halves, when Jack runs the point.

    So the Warriors lose because Jack isn’t as dangerous as Curry, and they lose because Jenkins isn’t anything close to Jack.

    There doing this all without Bogut though. David Lee is also very underrated and would make a nasty combo alongside Bogut's defense and adequate offense. That combo could hurt teams playing high low and Lee stretching the floor. Sucks for them that Brandon Rush went down too. That dude can shoot threes.

    Bogut is shooting and working out lightly.

    Never like to see players get hurt. Always want to see the best product on the court, even if it means the Jazz get beat. GSW has a very bright future

    You are assuming Curry and Bogut will be healthy for "a very, very long time"

    You're cute.

    You have a big heart.

    Might want to get it checked out, I hear it can be serious.
