Tinsley did not have a good stat night, but he actually played pretty well. He was the sole reason we got back into the game in the 1st -- a nice push shot in the lane, a dance with Nash to set up a Marvin 3, a great break to set up a Marvin dunk. Yeah, he threw the ball away the next possession and he's a bad shooter.
The point is -- we have a terrible offense and he actually makes it look better than it is. And he's not very good. Marvin The Small is a worse PG than Tinsley by far, but a better scorer. If we're going to foolishly keep Ty around, then we absolutely have to get a quality PnR PG.
There is zero question our system sucks. I stop there. I'm not gonna fault any player who gets limited touches. I'm not gonna write a smart sounding essay about the limitations of that player, or how low his ceiling is. It's Corbin and the bottleneck at Jefferson. I'm not taking anything seriously until one is gone. I'll re-evaluate at that time.
Is better than a not so good system with karl malone, john stockton, michael jordan, lebron james, and hakeem?
Edut: I see when i re-read your post that you said "no players WE HAVE could overcome the sucky system"... my bad, you are correct sir, and im kinda drunk so my apologies
How many more games do we need to see the vets play more than the kids? How many more games do we need to lose before Corbin gets the ax? Even Obama is calling Corbin an empty chair
Well that game was a total and utter embarrassment.
Not sure what made me more sick:
1) Al getting absolutely bitch made on the glass by Howard, especially in the first half.
2) Somebody's genius idea to put Foye on Kobe
3) The total lack of any sort of offensive system
4) Watching the starters suck it up again when the bench gets them back in the game
5) The ref's absolute jobbing of the Jazz, though at some point it quit mattering. Still, Sap got murdered on a ton of plays and the dumbass refs did nothing.
It started with Earl [Watson], Randy [Foye] and Marvin [Williams]–the veteran guys. I thought the young guys did a good job of following their lead getting us off to a good start. - referring to the Jazz/Bobcats game on 3/1/13
Earl, Randy, and Marvin started the first quarter 0-3, scored a whopping zero points, and finished with a turnover in the first quarter.
Your head coach of the Jazz ladies and gentlemen.
But, let's not get side tracked. Jefferson shouldn't be on this team. Last night was about as painful a reminder of that as you can dial up. Why I'm STILL watching him and his antics for 30+ minutes a game is just plain ****ing ridiculous when my team has two great prospects rotting behind him. I'm no historian of the League, but I can't find any precident for the past two years. Mind numbing.
