But seriously, I think Hayward was the right choice of draftee. George would have been playing 22mpg, and been averaging 12 ppg here at most.

Who would've thought Paul George will be an All Star in 3 years? His improvement very impressing in that 3 years. Frank Vogel deserves some kudos for trusting the youth.

Its funny because some would argue that West has been their best player. He's their closer night in, night out.

I have as much beef with this as I had with Hibbert being an all-star last year.

    Oh well.

Actually, he would be averaging 10.3 ppg at 22 minutes according to his points/minute ratio. Hayward would average 11.2 at 22 minutes/game. Both have different roles of course.

-Gordon's shooting a tad bit better overall, has a better 3 pt%, has a better ft%, and gets to the line at a rate nearly double that of George.
-George destroys Hayward on the boards and is going to be (if he isn't already) one of the best defenders in the league.

If we could just pair these guys together...

Paul also doesn't have Jefferson, Millsap, Favors, Kanter and Williams, all great rebounders in their own rights, to compete with.

Everyone and their mothers know that Hayward is clearly capable of bringing in 5 a game. He just doesn't try as he is pushed more to leak out on transition due to the wealth of rebounders we have on this team.

I certainly wouldn't say that George is the best defender in this league. To each their own.

Lin not being an allstar might mean NBA kinda crawls away from pleasuring the Chinese fans which is a very very good thingie to me.

Does anyone else think that Bosh being an all-star is a joke?

Yeah, i think Horford deserved it more. They should've called one player from Atlanta IMHO.

I did hear a great idea about how to fix players being selected to the all-star team that don't deserve it. The idea is to have the coaches select The full roster and then give like 2 weeks for the fans to vote who the starters should be.

Brook Lopez should've been an All-Star over Deng or Bosh. His PER is off the charts. He puts up better numbers than Deng in 10 fewer minutes per game.
