With the way the new CBA is looking and how valuable cap space is, I'm not sure we trade Milsap or Jefferson. Really pessimistic about a trade happening especially since Pau Gasol played really well today.
Yeah I was feeling the same thing. Then I'm reminded that the trade dateline is looming and KOC/Lindsey are not stupid enough to let it pass without getting anything in return. I'm positive they'll at least get a future 1st or a decent young player out of Millsap.

If Pau played terrible today and the Lakers lost, they'd be much more likely to trade Pau. If the Lakers trade Pau, the Jazz can get in that somehow.
I'd rather do a trade with say the Bobcats who have x2 first round picks this year and in need of a PF vet who can help the young team grow.

I can't see the Jazz making a big trade with the Lakers.
We would most likely have to take back Tyrus Thomas. Do you want that? I'd do it. But I don't think you think these things through.

Portland is .500 right now. They are probably going to be around this number all season long. You want to trade Millsap and Burks for a low lottery pick? That doesn't make any sense to me. Why would I want to give up on Burks when I don't even know what he has? Horrible.
Well we already have our pick #17 and GS pick #24. If we can get Portland's #14 and somehow use those 3 picks and move up to get a legit talent in the top 3, I think I'd do it. Cleveland is picking #3 and Phoenix is picking #4 right now, I think they could use more talent. Especially Phoenix, they just need "bodies" right now IMO.

That's all speculation. What I see in front of me is trading Millsap and Burks for the number 14 pick, and that's a horrible move.
