That's the thing though, Disneyland is pretty pricey for anybody that aren't SoCal locals now. You bank a couple of those trips and your world opens up. I do like Disneyland though and I'm sure once I have kids I'll figure out quickly that it's probably just a lot easier hauling kids to a place like that than many other options. Which is why you marry a woman that has parents that love tending grandbabies + have parents that love tending grandbabies.
Not when you can drive there. Flying a family isn't cheap. For example, I could probably take my family on an entire trip to Anaheim-SoCal for the price of just airfare to Miami or Hawaii.
I agree with you on banking a couple trips though, which is why I've never taken the kids to Disneyland. I'd rather spend the money to do it right while sprinkling in a few cheap trips in between (like retreating from the cold to Phoenix each winter!!!).
Which one? I've been planning a train trip to Denver for the last couple of years to watch the Rockies and visit Six Flags, the Mint, etc.

Debating a 1st trip to Hawaii late in the year or waiting a year
No, no, and no. But I'll be out of Utah by next year.
She knows where. Her parents sold her back to Vietnam. She'll be living in the communist party's harem come January 2014.
Fun thread to read. I quit my job, and am going to backpack/hitchhike around western Europe from March through June. I'll be back in Utah for a month, and then I'm going to move to China for a year to teach ESL. Already got the job worked out, just need to get the work visa processed. Unbelievably stoked, and terrified.
