Ante Tomic weighs 260?

I hadn't thought about Tomic for a few months so I thought I'd google his name. The first thing that caught my eye is that Wikipedia is reporting that he weighs 260 (did one of you guys go and change it? )

I looked him up on youtube and he doesn't look as skinny as he once did...



He did sign another 3 year contract earlier this year and I don't hear anyone with the Jazz talk about him anymore, so maybe I should just forget about him. Anyone else kept up on him? I don't follow European ball. I don't know if 15ppg is good over there or if NBA caliber players should be getting 30ppg. Is it time to forget he exists?

No relative bond between Splitter and him except they both have experience of Spain. Splitter was already ready before coming to Spurs and he's always been tough guy who has nose for the ball. Tomic is offensive minded player, good basketball iq who can not defend the chair. He may foul out in 5 min in the NBA.

I'd totally be down with running with Favors, Kanter, someone like Brand on a one or two year cheap deal, and Tomic as our 4th big.

Splitter jumped over NBA because he was ready and good enough to play in NBA but Tomic is not so as you mentioned he can not come over later in his career . So next time you gotta try to get it by using your brain not the thing you sit over
