That team could have been good. Just needed some time together, and for Hayward to get better.
When Kanter entered the game to start the 4th-quarter the Jazz were down 5. When he left the Jazz were down 3.
Utah's starters were unable to close that gap over the final 6+ minutes of the game. The kid obviously couldn't throw the ball in the ocean tonight but I'm not sure how his 6-minute stretch in which Utah actually closed the gap affected the outcome of the game more than the 14-0 Portland run Utah gave-up midway through the 3rd.
The game was lost then when Utah lost all contain on Lillard.

Well, Booner was suggesting they keep getting the ball into Kanter because he was having his way with Hickson the ball just wouldn't fall. It wasn't the inside play that killed the Jazz. It was that no one could guard Lillard.
