Hayward - anyone else concerned ?

Twitter today has beat writers saying Hayward still has not shot a ball since Pacer game.

I hope this is not season ending.....

Jody Genessy @DJJazzyJody Gordon Hayward on his return timetable: "Hopefully, maybe I'll just wake up one day and it'll be better. It's still day-to-day."

And hopefully, maybe I'll just wake up one day and the Jazz will have won the NBA championship.

This can be tricky. Hopefully he doesn't have a torn rotator cuff.

Maybe it is, but hopefully it will just get better one day.

I think Hayward must be a mutant like Wolverine, but just heals a little slower in the shoulder area.

I also think we should make a new thread about things we would like to just wake up and find better. -We could keep it Jazz related, for atleast two or three posts.

I'm honestly happy that the Jazz aren't trying to rush him back into the game. I don't want him returning before he's ready and making things even worse.

I have a bad rotator cuff and therefore get steroid injections in my shoulder about 1 a year to dull the pain

My worst fear is that it becomes a recurring injury- like Curry's ankles, AK's back, or Boozer's....eh......well you get the point.

Sounds like Hayward is soft. That's been his problem since he's been in the league. He still needs to get much stronger to reach his peak, but he must become much tougher on and off the court. Stockton and Malone never missed a game with an injury such as the one Hayward has now, and neither one of them would have let Delonte West stick his finger in their ear as he did last year without trying to rip his head off.

I'm fine with Hayward sitting out and not risking further damage just because the Jazz are dead in the water without a point guard and with Corbin still at the helm.

    Shooting shoulder.

He can't play if there is any pain at all really.

Unless you want him airballing 3s.
