Be of good cheer, the worst case scenario now is 3-24 the rest of the way.

I think the jazz are over 500 the rest of the year. Hopefully they kick the tankers out the playoffs and get a lotto

The Jazz are still projected to go 3 games under .500 the rest of the way. Prove the projections wrong Jazz!

Don't see that happening. Around .500 at worst the rest of the way, giving the Jazz 44-45 wins, with the possibility of doing a little better than that. And most of us probably had the Jazz somewhere around that mark in our pre-season projections.
When one door closes, another doesn't open....instead, I find myself being locked in a room with padded walls and no windows.

I was thinking something like 65-17. So yeah, I'm a little disappointed in how the season has gone.

The Lakers have been picking up the slack as the odds of the Jazz making the playoffs has decreased.

Even though the Jazz and Lakers both lost the odds of the Jazz making the playoffs still went down.

Paul Pierce had to go off in OT for the Celtics to win that game. The Jazz are playing well and making progress with the line-up corrections.
Short list at #14: CJ McCollum, Dennis Schroeder, Archie Goodwin, Kelly Olynyk

Short list at #21: Steven Adams, Giannis Adetokunbo, Sergey Karasev, Nate Wolters

2nd round: Carmichael, Hardaway Jr., Adonis Thomas, James Southerland

Also, the Lakers and Jazz both went 6-4 in their last 10 games. The Lakers didn't gain any ground.

I'm lovin' the possibility of getting swept by the Spurs again in the first round.

What does it matter which one ends up in the lotto?

I want the Jazz to make it mostly to see Kobe melt down.
Build a man a fire; keep him warm for a day. Light a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of this life.

Repeating the same actions and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

The only scenario where I'd be happy about the Lakers making the playoffs would be if it's at the expense of the Warriors.

And Stern's parting gift to the NBA will be to make sure the Lakers win the lottery, since they already will have to dump Gasol to bring their tax penalty down to a manageable level.

No thanks. I want the Lakers to end up with the 17th pick and be faced with paying $100M just in penalties. Then we'll see how good Kupchak is as a GM. He won't be able to buy himself out of that mess. And Kobe will have a major meltdowm next season as not even he and a healthy Howard can right their sinking ship.

The Lakers can't win the lottery. Even if they got the #1 pick it would go to Phoenix.
