Green makes valid points. Let's face it, Al and Foye are both offensive specialists not all around players. Their best role is off the bench when a team needs instant offense. And if they're off, then return them to the bench. The rest of their game doesn't warrant playing time. If they weren't good scorers, they wouldn't be in the NBA.

Answer the question. Why should Al start over Favors? What does Al bring to the team that is essential?

Favors brings above average to great defense. His offense is good enough.

Again, what does Al bring that can't be brought with other players?

Favors dominates the paint. No one else can do that.

When Paul and Favors play together, we are an elite team, with a +13.

What does Al bring to the table that is essential to this team?

LOL. Answer the question. What does Al do that makes him essential to this team? What skill does he have that can't be found elsewhere, in another player, that makes him more valuable than Kanter, Favors and Millsap.

If you can't answer the question, that's fine. But you are defending him, but you have nothing to back you up, other than weak sauce talking points.

Come on big boy, answer the question.

Even though Foye was having a bad game, I would have still left him in there in the 4th quarter. Since they were down double digits they could have used his 3s and he might have got hot at some point. Glad to see Burks playing but he should have been playing pg at the end because Watson was single handedly costing the Jazz the game with his turnovers and acting like a stiff letting Clippers score on him at ease.

And God help us if they can't score in that game as well.
