OKC for realz.

Based on these numbers the LA under and the Utah over will be free money... I may wait until the Fakers fans pound the over so it crawls up a hair.

OKC makes no sense. We beat them in the playoffs and they are not getting any better.

Lakers have Lebron so that gives them a chance and Spurs have a chance if they somehow keep Leonard and he is happy. But it looks pretty unlikely that the Spurs will make Leonard happy.

I dont like the Lakers but they are going to be fun to watch. They are going the Utah Jazz strategy this year. A lot of versatility, defense, and players that can hustle/frustrate opposing players.

I doubt they do all that great in the regular season they will probably finish around 4-6 seed. But in the playoffs they are going to be pretty good. I dont think they beat the warriors unless they land Leonard this year without giving up everything but I would guess they will be the 2nd best team come playoff time. But that 2nd best distinction could go to Houston again or the Jazz depending on health and development.

Odds for Jazz should be ahead of Raptors and Thunder. The 76ers I would put higher than us just because they have the best shot at landing Leonard. But these are based on who actually has the best chance just how the betting will go.

Lakers and defense ? hahaha come on man, stop it.

They just added 4 good defensive players. Well Lebron is good in the playoffs on defense but still. Javale, Rondo, Lance, and Lebron are all good defenders and 3 of those are more known for that than anything else. They are going to try to create chaos and turnovers on defense and run on offense.

I think we should hit 50 games this season. Let's face it we will be the best defensive team in the league by a good margin. We have 10-11 plus defenders in our rotation and not a single defensive liability, assuming Burks rides the pine. Offensively we should make some modest improvements, mainly due to Mitchell and hopefully Rubio starting the season strong for a change. The only worry that we don't have a spark plug scorer off the bench but Favors and Crowder should provide some points.
But defense should carry us, I think we will be suffocating this season, no more Fraudney or old fart Johnson to give teams a break on that end the court.

I'll believe it when I see it. Bron plays no defense these days. Javale has rocks for brains, Rondo is not a defender any more, Lapse Stephenson is not that great actually, rather average.

Anyone who thinks the Lakers wont be good are just biased fans.

That squad is so much better than what the Cavs had, and its Lebron.

Had Paul George went there they would have had a legit shot to beat the Warriors. Without him they are just a step below them.

Think if they would have had this lineup.

Lebron
George
Ball
Ingram
Kuzma

In a positionless game these days this would have been a great squad that could have been able to rotate adequately on Durant, Steph, and Klay.

All of them pretty long and all of them are versatile players with a range of skill sets.

Ya, they didnt get George, but with what they do have in Lance and Rondo they can still be good.

Dont be shocked to see the Lakers very good this year.
