Breaking Bad and Sopranos are pretty much neck and neck in the drama department.

Louie is one of the most innovative/compelling shows of all time. I'm not even sure how to classify it anymore - can't really call it a comedy.

As far as traditional comedies I'm gonna fly my geek flag and say Mystery Science Theater 3000 was the most consistently funny show I've ever seen.

The Adventures of Pete and Pete was the best children's oriented show I've ever seen.

I voted for "I Love Lucy" mainly for sentimental reasons - - plus it was the first and is still a standard by which others are judged

but Seinfeld is right up there IMO

I almost think there should be separate categories for 1/2 hour sitcoms and 1 hour dramas

Louie is incredible.

The first handful of South Park seasons are amazing and 4/5 of The Wire's seasons.

Twin Peaks could have been GOAT too if it wasn't forced to end early.

I vote for Arrested Development.

I can, and do, re-watch episodes multiple times and still laugh. Absolutely brilliant comedy.

Seinfeld is second. Another show I can re-watch and still find funny.

Chapelle Show is probably my favorite comedy show of all time.

Also one of my favorites. Probably the first 3 seasons

I'm watching arrested development right now. Just started season two.
I love it!

Breaking Bad is just the obvious winner to me.

No bad or sub-par seasons and it lasted the perfect time without being cut short or drawn out.

Lost could have gone down as the best show ever, it had the potential. The writers just had no idea where the **** they were going and Im pretty sure the network told them they had to prolong the series to make more money.

Ya, it was basically perfect.

Breaking Bad was GREAT and I've got nothing against it whatsoever...

But in terms of re-watchability I'm gonna go with Mad Men. So much class, so many subplots and hidden meanings, ... just great all round.

I watched the 1st season and it did nothing for me.

One of the most overrated shows IMO.

I think you've got to enjoy subtlety to enjoy Mad Men.... it's not gonna hit you in the face the way Breaking Bad does, but with subtlety comes re-watchability IMO. There are hidden meanings/messages everywhere (New Amsterdam or Babylon in Season 1 come to mind, particularly that haunting song at the end of Babylon gets me every time), in each episode there is always a certain theme or idea the director/writer is trying to convey. Sometimes you come away thinking "what the heck was that episode all about" and then you watch it again and you get a different meaning or message from it.

As much as I enjoy Breaking Bad I don't think I can ever go back and watch the whole thing again a 2nd or a 3rd time... with Mad Men because of all the hidden messages and themes, I can happily re-watch an episode 2-3 times and still be able to enjoy all the subtle things it has to say.
