Following 2016 potential draftees

This is just a weak draft.

I think Valentine has a low floor, but also low ceiling. Luwawuwoooo could be good, same with Furkan. There's a wing from Syracuse I like a lot, Richardson I think. Ivan Rabb will be one of the best players, but does he fit a need?

Denzel Valentine had ZERO FTA's against a mid-major team in his last game as a collegiate player.

Just a dude playing on a loaded college team who can make passes to 3pt shooters like Forbes.

I'm sure all of his assists are to great 3 point shooters who do all the work for him such a joke. I'll bet his guys even made all those three pointers for him and just let him get rebounds.

He'll never be great like otto porter or Nigel Hayes

One ugly game between WI and Pitt. Hayes needs to pick it up rest of tournament. If anyone wants to know what an official Euroleague watch looks like let me know. I won the weekly Euroleague fantasy challenge this week.

I'm starting to get on the Buddy Hield hype train. Guys that can shoot off the dribble (and can dribble) find a place in this league. (Curry, Lillard, McCollum, et al.)

I have never seen the dude play but I have a brother who follows college bball quite closely and is very knowledgeable (much more than me) about sports in general who loves Heild. So that's good enough for me.

When is he projected to get picked?

For Eurohoops and al others who asked, 3 NBA GMs will attend tonight's game Mega Leks - Buducnost! Lakers, Jazz, Rockets!

Luwawu on the Jazz radar. Would love to actually watch him in a game. But what do I know? I didn't like Porzingis when i watched him in Europe.

I think middle-late lottery unless he has an insane tournament run and he getts one of the ****ty GMs of the perpetual tank candidates to fall in love with him(Yes I'm looking at you Sacramento)

He's going to Sacramento... Maybe New Orleans... It will be a take the guy they think can play now type of deal.

I'm wishy-washy on him (and Murray) but I'm starting to get off the Hield-train. Undersized for a SG and doesn't have much "shake" so he relies on really tough shots that will be even harder to get off in the NBA. Doesn't really have a good handle, so I don't think his driving game will translate either. Some people are comparing him to Redick, and the numbers show that Hield relies more on the 3 than even Redick did in college. JJ took more 2 point shots and free throws per game than Buddy. It makes me think Buddy is going to be a guy who runs off screens to just catch and shoot, but if teams want him to be "the guy" he's going to be taking Jamal Crawford level difficult shots to get his points. I think his success is going to hinge on if he can make Crawford/McCollum/Lillard level of difficulty shots.

I was back-and-forth on Buddy because people said Devin Booker was "just a shooter" and he's shown much more, and I thought Buddy might be the same way. But Booker just never really had a chance to show it at UK and Buddy has had the chance, and he's 22 playing against NCAA competition. It also depends on where he goes. If he goes somewhere like Toronto or Milwaukee he will be more successful than if he goes where I think he will...If he's available for SAC or NOP he is going to one of those teams (if Murray is off the board).

From Givony: In Europe @KKMegaLeks completed a semifinal sweep & advanced to Adriatic League finals. Timothe Luwawu 17 points (4-6 3P), 6 rebs, 4 assists

I'll bet he goes top ten... He's intriguing and if he's making threes consistently.

Lindsey on the Big Show yesterday, said he was in Europe for a scouting trip. Missed his kids tourney game, and wasn't scouting other teams in the tourney. I thought it was interesting.

In today's NBA, Ben Bentil should be getting more attention as a prospect. You just don't find true 4s who can score 22 ppg in a major conference and do it from everywhere on the floor as well as Bentil.

You say that as if he's had his chance and failed. Despite the fact that he scores a ton from three doesn't mean he doesn't also score a lot from two 2pt shooting % is 54% so he's pretty darn good at it - dude just scores a lot. Beyond that, when you can shoot the three like him, you want to get as many as you can from three because it becomes a more efficient shot - 47% 3pt > 54% two point. Also gets to the line nearly 6 times a game. To insinuate that he's just a 3pt bomber simply isn't accurate.
