I don't see him being that short. I think he can make it to 6'6 or so. He could bulk up a little bit too. Time will tell.

I remember when LaMelo was ranked in the 60's and the 70's.. He didn't really fly up the rankings and get the 5th star til this season, he was always playing competition much older than him growin up.. I guess he's gonna be 6'5"
I still think that some of the guards/wings he's overtaken on those scouting lists might end up better..(s/o to the best player in Missouri Marcedus Leech he's more of a swingman tho.)
and certainly a player like Bryan Antoine, who's been ahead of him on those lists, and remains ahead of him on those lists (with good reason) looks better at this stage.. He's also a combo-y scoring guard like LaMelo.

Word is Marques Bolden is considering transferring from duke, so I guess that rules him out of this draft.. SMU or TCU is the rumor.. some dukie fans are interpreting the move as paving the way for Mo Bamba.
Javin Delaurier-Montgomery is often the forgotten man at Duke. They list him at 6'10 now which means he's probably grown 1 to 1½" he was a late riser and was sort of expected to keep growing. He's got an awesome motor and he's very athletic. I post this dunk as much as I can

I'm glad u brought him up. He could actually sneak into my 2nd rd. He shot the ball from 3 well this year and if U see the highlights, he throws down some nasty dunks and stuff..
There's been some talk in this thread recently about this ex-football player Mark Smith, who's going to college next year. He's listed at 6'5 or 6'6" and 225lbs, here's a picture. He can shoot alil, has some 1st step,obviously plays strong and he plays point.. Some think he;ll be a pro after a few years in college.
I much prefer Georghino.. Think he's definitely got more upside. (obviously they're in different stages - George Lucas has better tools)

La Lumiere vs Montverde in the Finals of the Dick's Sporting Good Nationals on ESPN in 20 minutes. It's loaded with future NBA players and a possible #1 pick R.J. Barrett.
La Lu going for their 1st title, Montverde looking to further set the record and get their 4th. (not every top HS team is invited to this BTW - not exactly a true 'national championship'..)
It's assumed Barrett who's currently the consensus #1player in the HS class of 2019 will re-classify to the class of 2018 too.
These teams are enormous, especially La Lu both would absolutely crush some low talent colleges. Loaded with talent. this is gonna be good. The La Lumeire - Findlay Prep semi-final yesterday was a GREAT game(findlay did end up losing over FT ineptitude tho).

Certainly I'm taking the alpha beasts of the class Charles Bassey and Vernon Carey Jr his Serbian teammate and 6'5" SG Scottie Lewis and Bryan Antoine over him.. thats a no-brainer.. I really question if he's better than Keion Brooks Jr. too.

Where do you have Markkanen? That would be a tough call for me between those two. Markkanen's just been a soft ***** every time I watch him so I have trouble going there.....but he's obviously got tons of upside. I haven't seen him at his best.

Well.. Zach Collins still has another game to play.. so I'll get back to you then.
When Williams pulled out of the draft Zach was 11th on my board and actually touched the top-10. The mock I posted after the elite 8 had him 12th, with Jarrett Allen ahead of him..
Things will change during workouts.. I could see a team taking Collins over Markkannen it depends tho.
I've had Collins in all my mocks for months, he's one of the reasons they've been over-saturated with bigs. I was never convinced that he wasn't gonna be in the draft this year, even in playing 'limited' minutes off the bench.
