"He was basically on his back up until game time. He had IVs and whatever kind of anti-nausea stuff they were giving him to try to get him in a better place," Snyder said. "He wanted to play and got out there and just didn't have anything. So he ended up going back to the locker room, and I think he threw up again. They put him in a dark room with a towel over his head and that was it."

Why hasn't the media reported where or what Hayward ate to make him sick?

I imagined them working on Hayward like the chicken in the opening credits of Robot Chicken. It will be interesting to hear the story from Hayward. There's no doubt if he didn't play he was massively ill.

This is the entire Quin Quote from early today...

The radio guys suggested the jazz are investigating teh place he ate, the way Lindsey runs his organization the whole thing will have data collected and analyzed so it doesn't happen again.

If I were in the playoffs in a contract year, then there is no way I'd be eating anything other than the absolute best and freshest food prepared by someone I knew, trusted, and was paying a lot of money.

Quin Snyder has "some ideas" about where Gordon Hayward ate. "We'll have to get some sort of foodie website to look into it."

I'm disappointed some fans didn't recognize Hayward at the restaurant and out the place.

Hayward saw that new Taco Bell commercial and he couldnt help himself.

I think it was his personal chef, that's why he's being mum about it. Could have been a parasite, I never eat pork. Both times I've gotten food poisoning was from pork and it's not kosher

I found this from yesterday...

Gordon Hayward out with 7:25 left in first quarter. Serous case of food poisoning. Second time for him at the same restaurant.

Was it a churro cart?

Just saw this on Twitter. Insane. I've eaten at Alberto's a couple of times and have no understanding why any NBA player, in their right mind, would eat there... aside from the fact that it's delicious.

More: Alberto's, local residents say, is a Salt Lake drive-through Mexican restaurant less than a mile from Vivint Smart Home Arena.
