Only season tickets are sale right now though. I am not sure when individual seats go on sale. But it has to be after the schedule is announced at least.

Last year you could get nosebleed for what $10-15 and lower bowl start at 100?

Not sure if the early start of the regular season will change anything, but usually single game tickets go on sale in late September.
Also, I haven't paid much attention lately, but up until a couple of years ago I used to receive emails from NBA.com for a presale of single tickets about 10 days before they went online publicly. It was intended for NBA.com users/subscribers, so maybe you could check that if you want to get them as early as possible.

Ticket prices fluctuate, they are not just "face value" anymore. Ticket prices are like airline tickets, they fluctuate with demand. If you are trying to see Golden state you will pay triple what it might cost to see the Pistons, and thats getting the tickets directly from the Jazz.
If its a high demand game getting tickets from the Jazz will be cheapest, IF you can get them. If its a low demand game getting them on the secondary market is best. Like KSL, Flash seats, or just scalpers outside the game.
Message me which games you are wanting to get and I may be able to sell you some once the schedule comes out. I bought an extra pair of bottom row season tickets this year for my company and couple possible sell you those seats for a game.
If you give me your budget I could tell what tickets you can expect to get at different games.

You can get a decent ticket in the upper lower bowl, rows 20 and up, in the $50 range, but it also depends on the opponent. The games with the LeBrons and Durants command higher prices.
