I am aware but still seems high given the variables... they are in the middle of a blockbuster trade that may get nixed.

My celtics hate may also fog my vision... but didn't they kind of overachieve last year.

The East is trash and they only play Cleveland 3 times this year.
 
I'm still in off-season optimism mode, but I can't see any other way the Jazz don't finish above .500 except for the injury bug being a full on infestation in our organization or the injury that shall not be named happens.

I think the additions we made this off-season in that department will ultimately benefit us and we will finish somewhere in the high 40s or low 50s.
 
Lets see Jazz expected to be top 3 defense but nobody surprised if they become the NBA's top defense and picked to be around .500 win %.That means the prognosticators expect the Jazz offense to be one of the NBA's worst offenses then. If their middle of the pack offensively then they Win 50 games .That's about right.

Benchmarking to the most overachieving team In NBA history may not be wise.
 
I love a handful of the over under this season and plan to wager on at least 6 of them. I'll be taking the over on the Jazz. I was hoping the line would be 38ish but I'm still comfortable taking 40.5. The Jazz are a .500 team even with a couple injuries.
 
I don't like the idea of betting on individual outcomes, but if I was the betting type, it would be very hard for to pass on taking the over.
