Utah Trade Deadline Discussion

Part of me wishes Jazz would trade for Blake, part of me sees his 32 million that ramps up to 39 million at the end.

He is a decent/good fit with the Jazz (Mitchell,Gobert) but wow that is a lot of money for 22 ppg and 8 boards with only okay 3 point shooting.

I am surprised Cavs are not going after him. I feel like they could offer a decent deal for him. The Brooklyn pick is more valuable than anything the Pistons are offering.

This is one of those trades that works well for both teams. The Clippers, however, could end up being very strong very soon.

The Clippers got 2 players who can actually play this year (Harris and Bradley) and a 1st round pick. The Cavs didn't have two players they could send out right now who help the Clippers.

Dammit, Locke is tweeting about how Detroit is out of the Mirotic running too. And Tony Jones tweeted about Gallinari possibly being on the block and how the Jazz loved him in free agency. I don't really want either of those dudes on the team TBH.

Detroit is going to be awful. I don't like this fit at all. It's weird, they barely have any shooting, they didnt solve their PG problem, and when Jackson gets back, thats a weird fit.

If that happens ,I think Mirotic to Jazz gains traction as I thought Detroit was in front in getting Mirotic.

Yup. SVG hit the 'panic' button, 'let's try to save my job' kind of move. I don't see how BG fits

Pretty funny about all the players in trade rumors and the first move is a big one that no one was really talking about.

People thought no all-stars would get moved this deadline.

I imagine this creates a lot more rumors but not many more moves until the deadline gets closer, but who knows.

I assume Detroit has a few more moves in them but I like that PF/C combo. Now they just need to build around those guys.

Makes it impossible.

I don't think that. Detroit, like it's been reported time and time again, wants to win now. They have a new arena that's empty. I could see Detroit throwing us an unprotected future 1st and Stanley Johnson out there for Hood. He actually fits that roster with Drummond and Griffen very well.
